The Grand Theft Auto VI trailer looks exciting and atmospheric, although the “wow effect”, as was the case of the previous parts, does not yet. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the aesthetics of the new game is slightly looking like a fifth of.

There are still questions for the main plot, because it tonally looks more serious than the heroes of the madness of the local world around the heroes of the madness.

Initially, I did not appreciate the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, although I was waiting for it. In the first Grand Auto V video, the players immediately showed all the dirt of Los Santos, bandits, homeless people and other marginal personalities. The emphasis was placed precisely on “toxicity”, while the GTA 6 trailer shows cheerful madness, social networks and youth parties.
But with repeated viewing, I realized that this was the meaning. If earlier Rockstar Fleaned near-criminal circles, unclean politicians and civil servants, now ordinary people with their vices are the object of ridicule: gluttony, lust, dependencies. Yes, and the plot itself, apparently, will shift towards problems with friends and in relations than telling the criminal drama.
So after watching the trailer, I began to wait for the game even stronger. Initially, GTA 6 was not very interested in me, I would be completely arranged by the updates of Grand Theft Auto Online or release Bully 2 In an ideal situation. But now I am interested in how Rockstar will show a new artistic vision, especially after the promise to make an “exciting evolution of the series”.

Miami, excuse me, Weiss City, the city of millionaires and vice, with an abundance of luxurious cars, yachts and villas, shrouded in heartbreaking glamor, stuffy lust and the spirit of profit. That is, what we could already enjoy enjoying both Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto V. This is the quintessence of the series: in any way, despite anything, to break there, in the very focus of this diamond haze, along the way, preventing other fighters for the prosperity of an individual personality.
However, from the moment the very last part was left for ten years. During this time, the world managed to survive the pandemic and the “green” revolution on the basis of either global warming or global cooling – and both of these phenomena turned everything into the order and partially destroyed. The world has reached the economic crisis, the largest over many years. The world on the air observes the death of hundreds and thousands of people who have only settled in the wrong place. The obsessive glamor has long been supplanted by the dusty nondescence of “old money”, and any force lies not by force, but by abilities, inclusiveness and tolerance. Of all the topical in the trailer, we see only the active participation of social networks – who also managed to reipulate their significance after a series of scandals.
Grand Theft Auto has always been a crooked mirror of reality, with inexorable ruthlessness exposing even that we ourselves did not immediately notice. And the fact that the new part, judging by the trailer, is again going to scourge the company of profit and consumption, may turn out to be an alarming bell: have the departure of significant developers really hit the basics of the narrative?
Everything, however, is not so bad. The level of the picture is amazing – on this Rockstar I ate more than one dog nursery. The level of detail is impressive (and annoys the owners of personal computers in advance). With dynamism, a variety of locations, an abundance of bright characters, everything is in order – not to mention cars and yachts. So only the release date on consoles is really sad: 2025!

I was waiting for a completely different. Of course, our expectations are our problems. And yet I hoped that the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer would be more atmosphere of the Weiss City that I loved 20 years ago. Well, now Rockstar does not want to play nostalgia and offers us a modern and youth city, where there are many beautiful people, everyone sits on social networks, love to have fun at night … and, of course, engage in madness. But after Grand Theft Auto V and a much more serious Red Dead Redemption 2, the semantic filling of what is seen seems to be a step backward.
If we talk about the audiovisual component of the GTA 6 trailer … It was as if it was created not Rockstar, but Ubisoft! And in front of us is not a stylish-brown Weis City, but a sunny and young San Francisco. I even decided to reconsider that trailer … Everything is very stylish, fashionable and youth. To attract attention and show how modern we are and what a beautiful picture we have. I really hope that Rockstar will show another GTA 6 trailer as soon as possible. Measured and cruel. Focused on what we really have to do in Weiss City. With pursuit, shooting and charismatic secondary characters, in whose hands there is real power. A trailer that will show that we have not just a beautiful wrapper, but something more serious.
